Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Unbeatable location — Just a 5-minute walk from St. Mary's Basilica and right next to The Cloth Hall, the hostel is at the very heart of Krakow's Old Town. Guests consistently mention the convenience of being steps from the Main Square.
  • Friendly, helpful staff — Reviewers highlight the warm welcome and practical help, from early check-in to local tips. The 24-hour reception adds flexibility for late arrivals.
  • Clean and comfortable rooms — Guests describe the rooms as spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, with private options feeling like small flats. Shared bathrooms are also kept immaculately.
  • Great value for money — With rates from £34 per night, the hostel offers an affordable base in a prime location. Guests often mention the price being a steal for the quality.

Worth weighing

5 to weigh
  • No on-site parking — The hostel doesn't list parking facilities, which can be a challenge if you're arriving by car. You'll likely need to use public parking nearby.
  • Check-in window is limited — Check-in is only between 15:00 and 21:00, so if you're arriving later, you'll need to arrange it in advance. The 24-hour reception helps, but the official window is narrow.
  • Facilities score below average — While the hostel scores well overall, the Facilities category is the lowest at 6.7, suggesting that the amenities may be more basic than at some competitors.
  • No pets allowed — If you're travelling with a furry friend, this isn't the place – the policy is strictly no pets.
  • No breakfast included (in some reviews) — While one reviewer mentions a nice breakfast, the description doesn't list breakfast as an amenity, so it may vary or be an extra. Check with the hostel regarding breakfast options.

“Excellent location right in the city centre, yet surprisingly quiet inside. The private rooms were like small flats – spacious and well-equipped with towels, tea and coffee, and cutlery. The room was warm, the bed comfortable, and the bathrooms clean with nice showers. Communal fridge and an iron were handy, and the Wi-Fi password was clearly displayed. A great choice for a first visit to Poland.”
